Children's Health Month: Why Does Our App Look Different?
No child should go hungry in America. But millions of kids in the United States are facing hunger. This doesn’t sit well with us as human beings and this certainly doesn’t sit well with us as a company operating within the retail grocery space.
Quick Facts:
To combat childhood hunger in America and to honor Children’s Health Month, Getir is supporting No Kid Hungry to make a difference. No Kid Hungry is an amazing campaign that is working to end childhood hunger by helping launch and improve programs that give all kids the healthy food they need to thrive.
In addition to making a company donation directly to No Kid Hungry, Getir is temporarily changing the design of our app to highlight No Kid Hungry and the amazing work that they do.
We have also added donation buttons to our homepage so that customers can easily make a donation to No Kid Hungry. 100% of these donations go directly to No Kid Hungry and every single donation has a big impact - a $1 donation can help provide 10 meals to kids!*
*No Kid Hungry does not provide individual meals; your donations help support programs that feed kids. Learn more at NoKidHungry.org/OneDollar.
After donating through the Getir app, there are many ways to continue the fight to ensure every child in the United States gets the food they need.
