How do I sign up?

Getir can be downloaded free of charge from the AppStore, Google Play and Huawei App Gallery to iPhone, Android and Huawei smartphones. After downloading the app, enter your mobile number and fill out the required fields. Once you are all set, you can place an order.


How do I use Getir?

After downloading the Getir app to your Apple, Android or Huawei device,

  • Turn on location services for a faster delivery experience.
  • After clicking the register button, you can register on the app by entering your information or by connecting your Facebook, Google or Apple account.
  • Press ‘Select delivery address’ on the homepage and add an address.
  • After selecting your address, add your products to your basket by tapping the plus button. Then add a payment method and place your order.

Our service options may vary depending on your address.


How do I order?

After opening the app, select a delivery address and add items to your basket. Select a payment method and confirm your order. After that, the app will show you the courier information. You can also follow your order live on the map.


How do I pay?

You can pay digitally or at the door. 

Payment at the door is only available for the orders you place with the ‘Restaurant Delivery’ option from GetirFood. You can pay with cash, debit and credit cards or meal cards. 

For digital payments you can use your debit, credit, or Istanbul Card that you added on the app. Nobody, including Getir, can see your credit card information. Your card information is protected by Mastercard’s payment infrastructure, Masterpass or BKM (Interbank Card Center). 

When you confirm your order, the order amount is automatically withdrawn from your card.


What do I do if my card has been rejected?

No need to worry. Just add a new credit or debit card and try again. You can also pay with your Istanbul Kart thanks to its Near Field Communication (NFC) feature.


Is my personal information safe?

We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698, the secondary legislation on the protection of personal data and the decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board (collectively referred to as the “PDP Legislation”). We act in accordance with the principles in the PDP Legislation in the processing of personal data and take all necessary measures to ensure the security of personal data.

In addition, your payment information is directly kept securely on MasterCard or Interbank Card Center (BKM), depending on the payment method you choose. Please review MasterPass Terms & Conditions for further information about how your payment information is processed by MasterCard. 



When I try to sign up, I get a warning that says my number is in use. What should I do?

By clicking the forgot password button you can generate a new password and continue using the app.


My location can't be found, what should I do?

Don't worry. You can select your delivery address from the map manually.
